CIPLA LTD.has informed BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on 22/05/2019 ,inter alia, to consider and approve This is to inform you that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company scheduled on Wednesday, 22"d May 2019 will inter-alia also consider obtaining an enabling approval from the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company regarding the proposal of raising of funds through issue of securities whether
denominated in Indian Rupee and/or foreign currency(ies) either by way of a public issue or by way of a private placement (including through a qualified institutions placement) in accordance with the provisions of the applicable law.
The proposal is in line with the Company''s previous years'' practice of obtaining an enabling approval from the shareholders.
Please treat this as the intimation required under Regulation 29(1) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations,2015, as amended.
